Weighing in at 1.75 ounces, the Tackle Industries Mini D™ Swimbait is a 100% soft lure and a not-so-mini 6” long (nearly 10" with the hand-cut tail pulled out). A tough inner harness holds a black nickel saltwater treble hook, great for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. From muskie and pike to striper bass, tarpon, peacock bass, barracuda, wahoo, and more, there aren’t many gamefish that can resist the Mini Swimbait.
Balanced with a weight head, it swims down at a 45-degree angle of the fall and horizontally when jerked or reeled in. For bass, use the Mini D as a crankbait, jerkbait, or jig. Other features include realistic 3-D eyes, fins, gill plate, and scales.
The Mini D is my go to presentation for spring/pre spawn, as well as down sized bait in the heat of summer for musky. I've also used these for getting big bass as well.
