As a musky guide, I have a full line up of the Tackle industries telescoping rods. One that gets a lot of use in my boat spring through summer is the 9 foot MH, I use it mainly for twitching 5 to 7 inch minnow baits. This rod has the perfect amount of flex for casting and working smaller baits, but great power for fighting fish.

Got the 10’6” MH and 10’6” XH. Won’t be using the XH until summer/fall but the MH is my favorite musky/pike rod that I own now. It loads up so you can throw smaller musky baits a country mile yet it has enough backbone to actually handle fish unlike some other MH’s I’ve used. The rod just looks and feels nice too, and you’d never guess it’s one of the cheapest (price-wise) I own. One of those rare occurrences where a “cheap” price doesn’t equal a “cheap” piece of equipment. Can’t wait to try the others now.

I honestly couldn’t believe the rods I received only cost what they did! These are hands down the best rod for the money you will ever find. Couldn’t be more happy with my purchase.
